The Crossings Golf Club – Jonesborough, TN

After doing a scouting session this past weekend of local golf courses, we were able to get an early tee time for today on this great fun course in Jonesborough, Tennessee. During our visit on the weekend, we met the staff in the clubhouse, who were all very friendly and offered us to tour the clubhouse. The clubhouse is very nice and offers a good variety of golf attire, as well as balls, gloves and hats. They even have a 19^th hole area downstairs that can be used for a group get together and tournaments.

Overall, the course today was in great shape. They have removed the Bermuda grasses and replaced them with fescue, leaving the fairway and surrounding areas very green this time of the year. We met a couple of members before our tee time and they stated that the course had recently hired a new greenskeeper. He must be very good as the greens were running very fast, but true. Out in front of the club house, you will find both a putting and chipping area, as well as a driving range out back. The grounds crews are very respectful of how they might impact your game when they are around you during your round. We would definitely recommend this course if you are in the area.
